Victor C. Talavera used to spend about four hours cutting his own split ends with scissors. So he invented a tool that does it in minutes, without losing length. Today the patented Split Ender is used at home and in salons around the world.

Questions, answered
Will it affect the length of my hair?
No. It trims only the damaged ends, about 1/8″ to 1/4″ depending on the trim guide, so your overall length stays the same while your hair looks and feels smoother.
Does it work on curly hair?
Yes. For the best result, straighten curly or frizzy hair first so the ends are fully exposed, then trim in small sections.
Is it safe?
Yes, when used as directed. The blades sit behind a guide that only trims a very small part of the hair tip, so there is no risk of an uneven haircut.
How does it find the split ends?
It doesn’t “detect” them. The patented hair plate guides each strand straight up to the blades, which snip the very tips, where split and frayed ends form. Healthy hair passes through untouched.
Can I use it on wet hair?
No. Wet hair behaves differently and can give uneven results. Always use it on clean, completely dry hair.
How often should I use it?
Every 4–6 weeks works for most people. It removes newly formed split ends without over-trimming.
How soon will I see results?
Right away: hair feels smoother after the first use. With regular use over a couple of months, you’ll notice fewer split ends.
