Well, after several "trims" at the hair salon that resulted in 4 or more inches off my hair at a time, I realized the only way to grow my hair was to trim it myself. The product was easy enough to use and set up. Reminder to fully charge before first use as it is only mentioned on the box and not in the setup instructions. As far as the effectiveness of the product. I am not sold. I hvae been looking forward to this product for a very long time as I have very long and straight hair. I wanted this product to help me keep my hair healthy while maintaining length. It does cut ends as advertised but I have run a section of hair through that I can see the split ends go in one end and out the other side being spared by the blade. I washed and dryer my hair as directed bedoruse and I did all sections with three passes. I think it does trim some ends but it's definitely not a perfect fix for split ends. My ends still appear dry and damaged. I will try again in a few weeks.
